Feng Shui Decorations
In feng shui, there are five primary colors that coincide with the five elements. These are: white (metal), red (fire), black (water), green & blue (wood), and yellow (earth). These are basic, but keep in mind that there are shades and degrees that can be used when exploring the feng shui of your home in more depth. Colors can be used to dominate a whole room or a particular area. When working with the North gua, black is auspicious. Water being the element for that area, anything with a fluid aspect or that is black in color will enhance your career chi. Blue and green can also be beneficial in the West (wood) gua. Feng shui decorations come in different colors and elements. I can help you to choose the right ones for you. More about Colors Copper, bronze, and chrome are good luck in the West and Northwest. While white is the primary color for these guas, the metallic colors are also amenable. Silver and gold are also positive colors in the West and Northwest. Shades of green and blue work well in the East and Southeast. The element for East is wood, and the colors of blue and green signify old growth and new beginnings. Purple works well in the wealth gua. Although introducing color corresponding with feng shui is good, the ultimate is choosing a color that you are comfortable with and that you absolutely love.
